We have reached the finish line of the 14th Days of Light!

- I had a dream — With this mysterious phrase Andrzej Wojnar, Director of the Optical Modules Department of Salumanus began the presentation of the latest optical module. The dream turned out to be a reality.

During the XIV Days of Light, more than 200 participants learned about the functions of the latest GBC Photonics device.

The dream of an extremely functional network device came true thanks to several months of work of engineers in Salumanus Laboratory. The new solution adapts to devices of all manufacturers, any wavelength and does not require replacement when the data transfer speed on the network increases.

- I am convinced that the universal optical module will change the approach to work primarily of network planners and engineers. It will also make life easier for purchasing departments — secures Andrzej Wojnar.

The GBC Photonics universal optical module was the undisputed favorite of the Days of Light. Other noteworthy solutions accelerated just as quickly on the track of new technologies: xWDM, alien lambda, WiFi 6 and 400G transmission. Thanks to them, the business becomes more efficient and profitable. Experts also discussed how to design and build 100G-400G backbone networks.

The inspiration for the 14th edition of the Days of Light was the atmosphere of the most famous racetracks. Racers have been living the desire to break the 400km/h barrier for many years, just as the world of ICT technology lives with technology entering the market 400G.

At Salumanus, we focus on the selection of solutions to meet the requirements of the rapidly developing world of telecommunications. Follow with us the directions of development and new technologies of fiber optic transmission.

“We know each other on the web and we like to share this knowledge. We have been organizing the Days of Light for more than a dozen years to show new technological opportunities and create a platform to talk with our partners. I believe that in a year we will see each other stationary — summarizes Marcin Bala, CEO Salumanus.
